Property Development

Crystal Group has also explited the booming property market and the vision of the state government to establish Sarawak as next industrial growth frontier of the nation. To date, Crystal Group has successfully implemented a number of development projects of various scales. These projects include residential, commercial development, leisure and shopping centre and office building.

There are a number of commercial and residential projects of various sizes in the planning stage expected to be launched in the near future. In addition, Crystal Group also provide project management services to its clients.

Property Management

This was established to supplement property development. It is currently managing Crystal Cineplex, a commercial and entertainment centre. It also provides property management services to some of the projects currently undertaken by the Group. These projects includes residential, commercial and office complexes.

Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

This was established to supplement property development. In order to complement the core activity of Crystal, the Group has set up Crystal-Kemasa Engineering as its Mechanical & Electrcal arm through joint venture to undertake such contracting works. The mechanical & electrical arm provides services to companies within the group as well as to external parties.

Since inception, it has undertake a number of major projects in Sarawak such as the Tun Jugah Centre, Wisma MAA, Grand continental Hotel, Wisma MBF, Twin Towers, NTV 7 Kiuching Station.

Crystal-Kemasa Engineering is managed by a team of engineers and experienced technicians. It is registered with UPK, Telekom and MAB.

Foundation Specialist

CR Geotechnique, a specialist arm, is neing set up to undertake specialised pilling and foundation works for the Group and also external contracts. Some of the projects undertake are the Tun Jugah Centre, Twin Tower, Wisma MAA, MBF Finance, Bangunan Crystal, Sarawak Securities, Rumah Dayak, Wisma Pelita, Rhiga Royal Hotel, Imperial Mall, Bintulu Port Authority HQ, LPG II in Bintulu, Wisma SMC and other commercial projects in other parts of Sarawak. It is the first Sarawak-based construction Group to utilise bored piles and micro piling technology in Kuching.

CR Geotechnique is well equipped with 2 units of the Soilmec Bore Piling Machine, Soilmec Micro Pile Anchoring Machine, 3 units of BSP Hydraulic Hammer and MKT Hydraulic Vibro Hammer. Currently, it owns one of the largest fleet of foundation work equipment in Sarawak.

Manufacturing

In the move to diversify the Group's activities from the construction sector but yet to maintain its synergy to the Group's core business, Crystal Group has also ventured into the manufacturing of building and construction related materials. Some of the main construction materials it manufactures are: Ready-mixed concrete, Pre-cast concrete products, R.C. square piles, Non-baked clay brick.

Crystal Group scored another first by setting up the first non-baked clay brick production lines in Kuching which is more environmental friendly compared to the traditional baked clay brick.

Trading

In a move to obtain a more competitive pricing for building materials, Crystal Group has set up a trading arm to acquire and supply building materials to companies within the Group. The trading arm also acts as agents of products like Tesa door knobs, Nicor motor oil, lubricants and industrial safety equipment. It also envisage to undertake the marketing of products manufactured by the manufacturing arm.
